Flexible Time Off is for our exempt employees regularly scheduled to work 20 hours or more per week. If you're a non-exempt employee, please use Vacation instead.
Take as much time as you need for personal reasons, such as vacation, with Flexible Time Off. Time is not accrued so there is no balance to draw time off from. Just check in with your manager in advance. Please try to give them as much notice as possible, though we recognize short-term needs come up.

You start earning vacation days as soon as you start work, and time accrues over the course of the year. How much time you earn depends on how long you’ve worked at Seagate. Once you reach the maximum vacation account balance, you’ll stop earning vacation until you take some time off.

Report your vacation time in the Seagate timekeeping system (HR Services > US Payroll Site).
If you do not have enough time available to cover your desired time off, you can borrow up to 40 hours of unearned vacation time.
Seagate provides 12 paid holidays each calendar year for those regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week.
